Some feedback from HELPX:
"I spent just one week with Paul but left having seen a beautiful slice of Wales and getting to know a lovely, mellow guy (Paul is a man of few words but we shared some great conversation on politics and books/authors/topics of shared interest!).
Primrose Haven is a lovely, well managed space which subsequently requires a lot of love and attention. Paul and I therefore worked together and completed a lot of mulching, weeding, cutting and clearing bushes. We also completed work in Paul's other garden by the coast - what a stunning area. We created a concrete base for his water tank (mixing concrete was an experience!); weeded the entire garden and painted his garden room. It was great to work together and achieve such a lot. Paul was so appreciate of my help too.
I stayed in one of the beautiful Shepherds Huts at the Haven and a great room by the coast. We shared all of our meals which were veggie and full of goodness. Paul you've inspired me to bring back out the maca and cacao!
I met Paul's wonderful wife Jan on my last night which rounded my experience off in such a positive way.
Overall the tasks were diverse, interesting, educational and always manageable. The accommodation couldn't have been better, food was simple and healthy, Paul and Jan are so warm, welcoming and passionate and have an excellent selection of books you can dive into.
If you'd like to learn a lot and achieve a lot, I'd certainly recommend staying with Paul. The area is stunning and you'll be working for a great place and a great person."

"I stayed here for two weeks in August and that was really beautiful experience. The setting close to the Brecon National Park and a bike ride away from the cosy town Hay on Wye, the garden and nature was lovely.
I worked in the garden with Paul and it was nice to learn some new skills and having interesting conversations as well. We also drove over to the other side of Wales to work on the other house, so got to see another beautiful place in Wales and visit the sea, go hiking... lucky me! And last but not least had some really great super healthy food all the time I was there...
So if you want to visit Wales I surely would recommend you to come here... I thinking about coming back another time and looking forward to that."
