Celtic Roundhouse

Paul built the structure of the Celtic Roundhouse in a 2-week period with the help of a UNA international workcamp. It is based on the style used by the Celts and offcuts from the local oak sawmill were used for wall structure and infilled with wattle and daub. The roof was created using ash poles from the adjacent woodland and a Pembrokeshire thatcher made the attractive thatching. The Roundhouse has recently been upgraded with oak doors, a wooden floor and chandelier so that it can be used either for workshops or overflow accommodation.
